Camels are tall, domesticated creatures used for riding and carrying heavy loads long distances, with little food or water. They are perfectly suited for desert lands.

Camels are tall riding animals, with either one or two large humps on their back. They are able to travel long distances, with little food or water. They stand about 7′ tall, with the hump rising 1′ more.

Camels can a light load of up to 300 lbs, a medium load of 300-600 lbs and a heavy load of 600-900 lbs. They can also drag up to 4500 lbs.

The single humped camels are more suited to the hot desert lands, while the two-umped camels are better suited to the cooler, rockier climates. These also have a slower MV of 5.

Camels first action is to flee danger. If pressed or scared, they will attack by biting with their teeth or kicking with their hooves, both doing 1d6 damage.

Camels can be found throughout the lands of Kavast. The great caravans of the south use camels to carry goods from the southern lands of Amrakh up to the northern Kavasti lands of Shallal and Yengzhi. They can be seen all across the warm desert lands.
