Horses are four-legged working animals. Light or draft horses covers smaller breeds, such as Arabians, ponies, quarter and wild horses.

Most horses encountered will be domesticated creatures, trained to pull loads or carry riders. These will be found where humans are, in almost any conditions.

When pressed or frightened, horses will attack by either kicking with their hooves or biting with their teeth for 1d6 damage. Otherwise, they will flee danger.

Wild horses tend to be found in open plains, or areas where they can feed and roam. These may include open forests, broken terrain, but not deserts or arctic climates.

The Isle of Ealdun

Horses can be found throughout the Isle.

The Middle Lands

In the Middle Lands, horses are the mainstay of transportation in the northern lands of Tianshang and Urre. In the southern Kavast lands of Amrakh, they are common, although camels are used as the predominant beast of burden for the great caravans of Kavast.

The Vales

Horses can be found throughout the Vales.

The Shaman’s Valley

Wild horses are uncommon in the Valley, but can be found there.
