Constrictor snakes are larger reptiles that live in hotter, wetter habitats. They hunt for creatures that are small enough to wrap around and constrict.

They will attack by biting with their powerful jaws, then wrapping their powerful bodies around the prey. If they are successful in grappling with the prey, they will begin to squeeze their coils until the victims dead.

Design Notes

I have always liked the big snakes in swords & sorcery stories. I could fit them in the Middle Lands, sure, but what about Ealdun? Then I remembered a Kane story by Karl Edward Wagner–and thought about albino creatures from the underground!
