Here are the campaigns I am currently running (or keeping track of). Honestly–there is just not enough time to do all the gaming that I want!
Middle Lands
Game: Blades & Black Magic.
Primary campaign. This is my large swords & sorcery campaign. It has a lot of room to grow and play in, and ticks off a lot of the themes that I want. Kind of on hold right now as I play in the Vales.
The Vales
Game: Blades & Black Magic.
Active campaign. This is my swords & sorcery campaign I am actively playing in and worldbuilding. This campaign world is much smaller than the Middle Lands, and very focused. It also has some more creative elements that I am really digging right now–that is why I am playing there…
Isle of Ealdun
Game: Blades & Black Magic.
On hold. This is my high fantasy campaign. The concept came from when I was a kid in college, but I have carried it through into Blades times. Thesis the reason I am keeping my magic rules flexible for high fantasy use as well as swords & sorcery.
The Shaman’s Valley
Game: Blades & Black Magic.
On hold. I have not really started the campaign yet, but really, really want to find the time to do so. There is something about an ice age campaign that really has me hooked. Maybe later in 2023 after I do some SF gaming in Far Jewel.
Far Jewel
Game: Cepheus Engine.
Spinning this one up after the first of the year. It has laid dormant for a few years now, but I want to get back on it. I’m ready for a change of pace and get back out among the stars…
Scanners
Game: Cepheus Engine.
On hold. This was a fun idea that I am still keeping on the books. It scratches some itches that intrigue me.
Attack Squadron
Game: Cepheus Engine.
On hold. I never got this one really started. I like the concept, but I may archive it.
The Emerald Ghost
Game: Cepheus Engine.
On hold. This is another small campaign that I like, but is on hold. It is more of a pulp action campaign set in the South Pacific before WWII, and just a ton of fun.
The Oklahoma Occult Journal
Game: Eldritch Hack.
On hold. This one I really, really want to get going–at least during Halloween each year. It is a mashup of modern horror set in Oklahoma City (where I live) with the old TV show Kolchak: The Night Stalker. The idea is that one of the party is a reporter who has a blog about the parties "discoveries." The blog would be her fictional account of the campaigns actual plays.
